This policy explains what information Import Mayhem Inc. collects through this website, how it is used, and who receives it. It applies to this website only.
Information you send us
When you submit the service request form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number (required), the service you are asking about, and your message. If you call or contact us another way, we receive whatever information you choose to share.
Please do not include payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive documents in the form.
How we use it
We use the information to respond to your request, discuss your vehicle, fleet, or aircraft and availability, and provide quotes or appointments. We do not sell your information.
Who receives your inquiry
Service requests are emailed to authorized Import Mayhem Inc. business personnel. For an initial launch period, a technical administrator who helps maintain the website also receives a copy of each inquiry to confirm that requests are being delivered. The website does not keep a database of form submissions; the email message is the record. Inquiry emails are delivered to email accounts hosted by Google (Gmail).
How long we keep inquiries
We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, provide services, maintain business records, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Spam protection
To prevent automated abuse, the form uses a hidden field, a time check, and a limit on how many requests one connection may send per hour. The limit uses a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address that expires automatically; it is not stored with your request.
Analytics, cookies, and similar technologies
This website uses Jetpack, a service provided by Automattic Inc. (WordPress.com), to measure visits and see which pages are viewed. When you visit, scripts load from WordPress.com servers (stats.wp.com and pixel.wp.com), and Jetpack and its WooCommerce analytics component set cookies in your browser (names beginning “tk_”) that include an anonymous visitor identifier and referral information. Automattic receives standard technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the page that referred you. Although e-commerce software is installed on this website, it does not currently operate an online store.
WordPress and its plugins also use cookies for administrators and other logged-in users. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the service request form does not depend on them.
Fonts
Pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers to retrieve it. Google may receive your IP address and browser details.
Hosting and security
This website is hosted by HostGator, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, pages requested, and browser type, to operate and secure the service.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
